In Wolves at the Lake, you and your fellow players navigate a remote, eerie setting filled with horrors and the threat of betrayal—whether by your fears, companions, or the lurking malevolent forces. The Lake is more than just a place—it’s an entity that remembers every trespass, every secret, and every sin you try to bury.

This game revolves around themes of survival, isolation, and psychological strain. Challenges will force you to think quickly, work with—or against—your companions, and confront the unsettling truth that no one is ever safe. Every decision can ripple through the group, and every failure feeds the darkness.

The game is designed with 3 to 6 players, including a DM (Den Mother), in mind and features a bespoke system designed by Quinn Blackwell, the Tug of War system. That promotes players to use token-based gameplay to help determine who is driving the story.

This 44 page-book is filled with the gorgeously eerie art of Casey Boatwright & a layout meticulously placed by Luna.
